One assistant across the three jobs around a sales call: the brief before, the prompting during, the record after.

What we heard

“Reps spend Monday reading about people and Friday typing up what they said.”

What it became

A brief assembled when a meeting is booked, an assistant that follows the call, and a record written from what was said.

What we found The problem under the stated one

Three jobs were being treated as one, and only the least popular of them had a tool.

Preparing a call, running it and recording it are separate problems. The CRM addresses the third, which is the one everybody skips, and skipping it is rational, because the value of a complete record lands on whoever picks the account up next.

That makes prep and record the same problem: a brief is only as good as the last record. So the record had to become a by-product of the call rather than a task after it.

Preparing a call and recording it turn out to be the same problem.

A brief is only ever as good as the last record, so fixing one end without the other does not hold.
What we built In the order it happened
  1. 01A trigger on the calendar: when a meeting is booked, the brief is assembled from the company, the room and every previous exchange.
  2. 02A brief that names the likely objections and what has worked, rather than restating the prospect’s homepage back at the rep.
  3. 03A live assistant that offers the discovery question or the objection answer at the point it is useful.
  4. 04A post-call pass drafting the summary, next steps and CRM fields, so the rep corrects a record instead of composing one.
  5. 05A development track per rep, built from the same call data that feeds the coaching.

What it does now In production

A meeting starts with a brief nobody had to write and ends with a record nobody had to type.

Because the record is reliable, the next brief is built on something real: the half of the loop that used to decay now holds it up.

Taken over
  • Pre-call research across a dozen tabs
  • Post-call data entry
  • Teaching new reps the shape of a call

This one sits across Agents and orchestration and GenAI implementation. Most engagements touch two.
